Bogle winery are proud to be honored with the 2018 Green Medal Leader Award, which recognizes the vineyard that best demonstrates environmentally sound, socially equitable and economically viable sustainability practices.The Phantom is blend of 51.5% Petite Sirah with 48.5% Zinfandel aged for twenty eight months in one and two year old American white oak barrels.Full-bodied and jammy, Phantoms origins of Petite Sirah and Zinfandel emerge from the glass. Spicy pepper and juniper tantalize your senses, while black plums and blueberries emerge on the palate. Notes of pipe tobacco and clove settle around the finish, long and lingering.Pair with richly braised short ribs with truffled mashed potatoes, grilled cheeseburgers, or barbecue ribs. Full bodied blue cheeses like roquefort are an excellent match. Vegan friendly!
