LOUIS .M.MARTINI CABERNET SAUVIGNON

Specially selected grapes were chosen from Louis M Martinis best vineyards in Sonoma County for this Cabernet Sauvignon. Both Frei Ranch in the Dry Creek Valley and Barrel Creek Vineyard in Alexander Valley were blessed with a steady summer and a consistently warm autumn in 2017. The wine is fermented at moderate temperatures to encourage a silky texture then aged in a mixture of French and American oak for sixteen months. Merlot and Petite Sirah are added to the final blend to add depth and richness to the profile.The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is a full bodied but fruit driven wine. Aroma of blackberry, blueberry, red plum, vanilla, cocoa, and clove. Incredibly smooth. Pair with pan seared filet mignon, grilled Berkshire pork chop, flourless chocolate cake, or firm cows milk cheeses like Comte or New York Cheddar.
